The menu features a selection of Portuguese-inspired small plates, beginning with traditional caldo verde and tomato & mozzarella bruschetta. A range of sharing dishes follows, including pork cheek with truffled mashed potatoes, a classic cachorrinho, codfish fritters with aioli, pork steaks in bijou bread, Porto-style bifanas, sardines on cornbread and falafel with tzatziki.
To finish, there’s a varied selection of desserts such as cheesecake, chocolate truffles, lemon meringue tartlets, leite creme, custard tarts and queijadas. The experience is accompanied by a full drinks offering, from sparkling wine and selected wines to gin, liqueurs and spirits, as well as beer, soft drinks, water and coffee.
Fireworks and celebrations
After dinner, you’re invited to join the São João street party and enjoy the magnificent fireworks display from WOW’s Central Square, with stunning views over the city of Porto, the Douro River and the Luís I Bridge.
Then stay with us into the early hours, with plenty of music, dancing and entertainment — surrounded by friends, family and the joyful spirit of São João. The celebration goes on until 4am, making this one of the most vibrant nights of the year.
