At PIP, tables are set among wine barrels in a building that once housed Port wine warehouses and cellars. Here you’ll enjoy a comforting meal in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

The menu begins with a selection of artisan breads and cornbread, accompanied by a regional spread featuring cured meats, ham, pickles, mini rojões, codfish cakes, vegetable samosas and marinated olives. Classic pizzas such as Margherita and Pepperoni follow, alongside seafood options like boiled prawns and mussels, as well as a variety of fresh and composed salads. The traditional caldo verde with chouriço from the Beiras is also a highlight.
From the grill come true Portuguese favourites, including sardines from our coast, pork belly, pork steaks and prego sandwiches, served with boiled potatoes, homemade fries, roasted peppers and sautéed greens. There’s also a vegetarian option of linguini with spinach, cherry tomatoes, peanuts, fresh cheese and cream. To finish, a selection of traditional desserts and fresh fruit, accompanied by red, white, rosé and Vinho Verde wines, as well as beer, soft drinks, water and coffee.
Fireworks and celebrations
After dinner, you’re invited to join the São João street party and enjoy the magnificent fireworks display from WOW’s Central Square, with stunning views over the city of Porto, the Douro River and the Luís I Bridge.
Then stay with us into the early hours, with plenty of music, dancing and entertainment — surrounded by friends, family and the joyful spirit of São João. The celebration goes on until 4am, making this one of the most vibrant nights of the year.
