For those who prefer a more private and exclusive São João, there are four spaces where you can book a table and dine in comfort. After dinner, you have free access to the party and consumption at your discretion until 4am.
Here you’ll find a relaxed and fun option for your São João dinner, in a themed space that’ll make you feel like you’ve stepped into a real Wild West saloon. There’s a wooden bar and tables, “wanted” posters, a dartboard and an old piano. Perfect for big groups of friends.
WOW’s wine bar turns into a lively celebration hall for São João. The dinner is served in a roaming, sharing style, perfect for a relaxed and sociable evening. With a unique setting overlooking the Douro River, the Luís I Bridge and the traditional rooftops of Porto, this is a front-row São João experience you won’t want to miss.

What is included in the ticket?
The ticket includes access to the venue, food and drinks throughout the event, live music and entertainment.
What are the opening hours of the festival and restaurants?
The festival runs from 6pm until 4am. Restaurants are open from 7pm to 11pm.
Where can I exchange my ticket for a wristband?
Tickets can be exchanged for wristbands at two locations:
Rua do Choupelo, at the Bus Stop entrance, below The Yeatman.
Rua do Choupelo, at the Street Market entrance, next to the T&C restaurant.
Is parking available?
Yes, parking is available, with approximately 190 spaces. Given the expected attendance of around 5,000 people, we strongly recommend using public transport.
Is the event outdoors?
Yes, much of the experience takes place in WOW’s outdoor spaces. However, indoor areas will also be available and freely accessible.
Are there reserved seats at the event?
The festival does not guarantee table reservations, although tables will be available across several WOW spaces.
Can I bring a plastic hammer and balloons?
Yes. And if you forget your São João hammer, don’t worry — traditional accessories will be available to purchase at the WOW venue.
Will the fireworks be visible from WOW?
Yes. WOW offers one of the most privileged views of Porto’s São João fireworks display.
Is the event suitable for children?
Yes. The event is designed for families, and children are welcome when accompanied by a responsible adult.
