Regulars of Garagem 33 already know what to expect: traditional Minho dishes prepared with skill and creativity. This time, the experience is elevated by open-fire cooking in a privileged setting overlooking the Douro River and Porto’s riverside, paired with a selection of wines from Fladgate Family Wines and a lively, communal atmosphere around long shared tables reminiscent of a traditional Portuguese celebration.
To start, the menu features crispy fried horse mackerel, croquettes of traditional Portuguese cozido, and salt cod salad, followed by free-range pork marinated in garlic and wine.
Main courses include slow-cooked beef stew with pasta and grilled beef served with Portuguese bean rice.
To finish on a sweet note, there will be traditional Pão de ló and Abade de Priscos pudding.
Advance booking is highly recommended.
